Acupuncture
An
ancient Chinese medicine which involves the use of fine needles
inserted in to the skin at specific points around the body, often used
to reduce pain and other theraputic purposes.
Bowen Therapy
Bowen is a soft tissue therapy, working the fascia,
which administers changes to the both mechanics and function of the
body, allowing for the body to gently re-adjust itself.
EFT
EFT is like an emotional version of acupuncture, but without the needles. It
involves tapping with the fingers on various meridian points on the head, upper
body and hands.
Iridology
A
technique whose pratitioners believe that patterns, colours, and other
characteristics of the eye's iris can be examined to determine
information about a patient's systemic health.
Naturopathy
Defined by principles that work on the vital energy that guides bodily
processes such as: Metabolism, reproduction, growth, and adaptation.
Reflexology
The
technique of applying thumb, finger, and hand pressure to the feet,
hands, or ears of the client to cause a physical change in the body.
Yoga
Originating in India, Yoga is a combination of physical, mental, and spiritual disciplines in pursuit of a state of perfect spiritual insight and tranquility for the practitioner.

Aromatherapy
A therapy that uses volatile plant materials, known
as essential oils and other aromatic compounds for the
purpose of altering a person's mind, mood, cognitive function,
or health.

A
therapy conducted while the client is in a state of trance (Hypnosis).
A very useful intervention to assist with modification of behaviours
and emotions relating to the past, present, or future.

A
wide range of practitioners use massage in their therapies. It involves
the manipulation of superficial layers of muscle and connective tissue
to enhance the function and promote relaxation.
Physiotherapy
A physical therapy carried out by healthcare professionals, who diagnose and treat individuals by identifying and maximizing quality of life and physical movement potential.
Reiki
An
energy healing based treatment originating in Japan. It involves the
transmission of energy (ki) through the hands to restore physical
health and wellbeing.
